About Little Way

Who We Are

We are a company with charitable status, all working on a voluntary capacity for Little Way Cancer Support Centre. Our company consists of seven unpaid directors working for the needs of cancer patients and their families in County Kildare. We solely depend on fundraising events and donations from the community to provide these services.  We are registered with the Charities Regulator and our number is CHY No: 15767.

Why have a cancer Support Centre

The Little Way Cancer Support Centre was set up in October 2003 to provide support for cancer patients, their families and friends. While medical concerns are addressed, many people feel that their emotional needs and those of their family and friends are not. The Little Way Cancer Support Centre meets this need by providing emotional support and practical help to people who have had cancer, their family and friends.

Confidentiality

Everyone who enters the centre will be treated with compassion, respect and be provided with a caring and supportive environment on their journey through cancer.  The centre operates strict rules of confidentiality, which is observed by all volunteers and visitors.  This ensures that the Little Way can offer a safe and caring environment for all who visit.
